William. I will not insult your intelligence or bore the sh!t out of you as Ramon C did, but try to answer your question.

I also have a C class, similar vintage to yours. In the glove-box, left hand side you will find a 'aux' socket you can plug your i-pod into. Bring up 'aux' on the centre display and there you have it.

I don't find this the best set-up in the world partly because this will not of course 'charge' your i-pod.

Mercedes can of course sell you the full integration kit, that connects via a USB lead, will charge the i-pod and display the contents on the vehicle dash readout, be warned though, as all things 'Merc' it costs arms and legs (£400+).

Good Luck !

Hi then buy a FM transmitter as sold in most shops that sell gadgets this allows the music from the ipod to be transmitted over a low power transmitter into the car's radio at a Fm frequency.

If you do not have the media interface option, you need the iPod integration kit. Once that is installed, you can connect the iPod with the vehicle's entertainment system.
