If you're 60 years old in Canada, with a great driving record, how much should insurance cost per year more or less? Also, if you drive 20,000km annually, how much should fuel cost? And is this car reliable? How much would you expect to spend on maintenance costs over the next 5 years? It has 70,000km and costs $36,000 also, is this a good price? Lots of questions I know, but thanks so much

its not a bad price to buy a good car like this, my uncle had the S550 from 2007 and it was great, he didnt really get any trouble with it, it was comfortable and stylish, you get around 14-16L per 100 KM depends on how you drive it, for insurance i suggest you contact brokers because driving records vary from driver to another, try using this website as well http://www.kanetix.ca/

Which model S-Class (in Canada for the 2007 model year you could buy the S550, S550 4Matic, S600 and S65 AMG) ?

Where in Canada (urban residents pays more than rural)?

What's the driving history of this imaginary 60 year old (even older drivers can be bad drivers with multiple accidents on their record)?

Etc, etc., etc...

EDIT: Great driving history does not really say very much. A driver may not have any accidents or other driving violations on their licence but they may still have multiple insurance claims such as stolen vehicles, natural disasters claims, etc. That would still drive up the insurance rate. Also, you still have not mentioned where this person lives. A driver in downtown Toronto, ON. will pay a lot more than a driver is Blind River, ON (population of 4000).
